The Rheumatic Diseases Portuguese Register (Reuma.pt) was developed by the Portuguese Society of Rheumatology (SPR), became active in June 2008 and includes patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and several other rheumatic diseases.

The ultimate goal is to register all rheumatic patients treated with biological agents in mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, ensuring effective monitoring of treatment indication, efficacy and safety.

The Reuma.pt is also registering comparative cohorts of patients with RA, AS, PsA and JIA treated with classical immunomodulatory agents.
